Chettiars (Nagarathars) are a prominent business community originating from the Chettinad region of Tamil Nadu, India. Their culture is characterized by a unique blend of traditions, architecture, cuisine, and art forms that reflect their rich history and heritage. Their values are deeply rooted in their cultural and traditional practices, reflecting their unique identity and ethos.

Promoting the Tamil language is not just a matter of linguistic preservation; it's a celebration of cultural diversity, a preservation of heritage, and an investment in the future of knowledge and identity.

South India has a rich tradition of music and dance, with classical forms like Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music being highly revered. The foundation aims to nurture and preserve these arts in the modern world, particularly in North America.

We also intend to encourage Chettiar youth to explore professions that are under-represented in our community, including: Law, Public service, Performing Arts and Professional Sports.

Medical research is vital to the continued improvement of quality of life for all people. Our organization will support selected research projects, particularly those related to pulmonary fibrosis.
